Shrink Team Challenge Weekly Weigh-In...
Thursday night was the kick off of the weekly Shrink Team Challenge Support calls. The lines were packed with excited 'shrinkers'. These calls will give you tips to be successful with your Shrink Team Challenge and will keep you excited and motivated. We heard from Connie Mueller who lost 28 pounds and has kept it off for a year. Connie gave us some great tips and encouraging words to keep us on track.
Our tip of the week was to keep a food journal. With a food journal you write down everything you eat and drink for the day. Just knowing you have to put it in writing will help keep you on track and know just how much you are eating. If you don't want to write it in your journal then don't eat it! At the end of the day take a look at what you ate. Did you stay on track? Did you make smart choices? Did you slip a little? Did you drink too many high-calorie beverages? Reviewing what you did for the day will help you stay focused and get on track for tomorrow.
We look forward to hearing you on the next call. And remember, "don't give up what you want the most, for what you want at the moment."

Recipe Of The Week: Creamy Vanilla Latte
Additcted to your morning coffee or just looking to shake up your flavors? The Appetizer Diet Creamy Vanilla Latte Shake is sure to please.
Ingredients:
Appetizer Diet Velvety Vanilla Shake
Instant Coffee (Decaf or Regular)
4oz Hot Filtered Water
10oz Cool Filtered Water
1/8 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
Cinnamon powder (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the instant coffee first. Heat 4 oz of fresh filtered water. Add in single serving of instant coffee, mix and set aside. In blender, mix 10oz cool fresh filtered water with one scoop Appetizer Diet Velvety Vanilla Shake (blending for longer will help to produce a more frothy texture).
In a large mug or heat safe glass pour in coffee, additional Vanilla Extract if desired, then add blended shake on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon for the coffee house experience. Enjoy!

At Vitamark we have always followed a philosophy of providing great, effective products at prices that are affordable. That practice, we believe, is even more important in today's economy.
Many Vitamark partners comment on how easy it is to market our products because they are affordable.
While we haven't passed on any price increases in the past nine years, most people know that the price of raw ingredients and manufacturing has skyrocketed. Many companies have raised the prices of their products significantly, but we have held back.
We have reached a point on a couple of products where continuing to absorb cost increases is not possible. The Appetizer Diet Shake and the Appetizer Diet Cookie costs have escalated significantly over the past two years. This means that we will have to adjust the prices only on those two items.
The good news is that Vita-One, LimuPlus, and all of our other great products will continue at the same prices.
Here are the adjustments that we have to make on the Appetizer Diet Shake and the Appetizer Diet Cookie.
On the Appetizer Diet Cookie, the cost of the 12-pack of cookies will remain the same: $19.95. We will raise the price of the 30-cookies box from $44.95 to $49.95. The BP will remain the same at 25BP.
On the Appetizer Diet Shakes, the cost will remain the same: $29.95, but we will have to reduce the BP from 18BP to 15BP to keep the retail price the same.
So the good news is that there are no other adjustments we have to make at this time.

I Will Never Go Without VitaWoman
My story starts in 2007 when I first found a lump in my left breast. I was scared but without any health insurance, I was unable to see a doctor. I applied for some women's healthcare funds but was always turned down because I was under 40 years old. Then, at the end of 2008 I was finally approved and was able to see a surgeon. I underwent numerous procedures, including ductograms, mammograms, ultrasounds and finally a double biopsy. The biopsy came back non-cancerous which was a HUGE relief. Until 2009, when another lump showed up along with bloody discharge. At this time, my good friend had just died with breast cancer at the age of 36 and another friend, the same age as me, was just diagnosed with breast cancer.
Once again, I underwent many many procedures. The doctors were baffled. Biopsies showed non-cancerous and although the lump was prominent, it was unseen through all the ultrasounds and mammograms. This is when the pain started. At first it was a dull aching pain that happened a couple times a week. Over several months, the pain came more frequently until I was in excruciating pain most of the day, every day. I cried myself to sleep almost every night. I walked around with my arms crossed at all times because pressure was the only thing that relieved the pain.
Once again, the doctors were stumped. My last visit, in November 2010, the doctor and his nurse recommended that I start taking some specific herbal remedies. I had nothing to lose. I would have taken ANYTHING to stop the pain.
When I came home, I recalled a product that was offered through Vitamark called VitaWoman. I have heard countless testimonies on how it helps women going through menopause, but since I wasn't going through menopause, I figured it couldn't help me. Yes, I suffered severe PMS monthly, but I was not willing to pay for and consume a product daily to relieve my symptoms.
